Nearly 3,900 Bataan residents to gain temporary jobs under DOLE TUPAD Program
A total of 3,891 residents from Pilar, Orion, Limay, and the City of Balanga are set to benefit from temporary employment opportunities under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program. In partnership with the local government units and the Department of Labor and Employment, an orientation was conducted for the beneficiaries prior to the start of their community-based work. The beneficiaries will participate in activities such as cleaning public areas, coastal zones, and drainage systems, as well as vegetable and mangrove planting initiatives aimed at supporting environmental efforts. Each participant will receive ₱6,000 upon completion of the 10-day work period under the program.
